Graham Warwick

The Sensational Bona Fide Blues Band started off as a small jam band for Graham Warwick's weekly blues showcase Blue Monday at Silver Creek in Fredericksburg Texas. The original members included Graham, Chris Adams on bass & vocals, and noted guitar whiz-kid Will "The Kid" Owen-Gage on..... DRUMS! (It turns out that Will is an EXCELLENT drummer!!) John Ramsey soon took the drummer reigns leaving Will to be our occassional lead player. The award winning Mark Searcy soon became our regular lead man. As time went by, other folks joined the band to make us one of the hottest blues bands in Texas!!John's brother Mark became our piano man; Dave Homann sat in regularly as our sax player; and Rick Boss (one of the most SMOKIN' harp players ANYWHERE)was our harmonica guy! After Spot Barnett's house burnt to the ground in April of 2007, Silver Creek & Blue Monday held a benefit for him. Spot (Ike & Tina's band leader for much of the 70's... He also was one of the a founding members of the Grammy Award winning Texas Tornados & the West Side Horns!)sat in with us that night & declared himself a "Lifer" SBFBB member!! Now the incomperable Emmett Smith is our lead. Long time San Antonio bassist Joe Sarli has taken over bass duties. Lee Adams holds down our rhythm section! Spot (75 this year!!) still makes an appearance every time he gets a chance!
