Gordy Garris

Born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan, Gordy Garris took up music at an early age, singing and learning to play the guitar. As a teenager, Garris taught himself the piano and began writing songs in high school. Songwriting was always a great emotional reprieve for Garris, as he amassed hundreds of original songs by age 20. He went on to perform shows across the United States and record four Pop-rock studio albums over the next 7 years; with his most recent release entitled "Legacy" in May, 2021. 2022 was a year of transformation for Garris, as both a Christian and as a music artist. After joining a church and being baptized, the Lord laid it on his heart that it was time for him to abandon the past 10 years of making mainstream music for himself and for the world and to start making music about his faith and give all the glory to God through his music. The fifth album, set to release in the summer of 2024, will be his first Christian music album, entitled "Go With God."
