From the 2006 war in Lebanon to the 2010 destruction of an impoverished Haiti, injustice is the main ingredient that the Guerrillas mix into their songs. Organic in it's look, nature and sound, Goldishack is a musical breeding ground for America's true feelings. Goldi, a Brooklyn native, has been making cutting edge music for years from movie soundtracks to international commercial spots as well as music projects with local artists. Things took a heartfelt turn for him when he made a trip to see his family in Beirut, Lebanon. While there the country came under attack from the Israeli Defense Forces in response to a recent battle which lead to a soldier being kidnapped. Upon returning home, Goldi decided to wage WAR (the album) with the only weapon he's ever had at his disposal: music. Along with hip hop artists Kryciss, Rcyn, UTK and Shockwave and featuring other local greats, Goldishack is now headquarters for the guerrillas who are regaining the minds of those who seek more from their country, their leaders and media.
