Francesca Capasso

A native of Houston, Texas, singer/actress Francesca Capasso has worked with Randy Jackson of American Idol fame, Spencer Davis, Legendary Motown Artist, Bobby Taylor, Legendary Drummers, Hal Blaine from The Wrecking Crew, and Carmine Appice from Vanilla Fudge, Rod Stewart. She has opened up for Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Joe Cocker, Johnny Winter, and Robben Ford among others. Her single “Been To The Mountain” on Centaur Entertainment's PRIDE 2000 CD has her in good company with Aretha Franklin, Martha Wash, Donna Summer, Moby, Elton John and Bonnie Raitt. Francesca;s former LA based band, Francesca and the Flames were a force on the LA music scene from 1997-2001. In 2000 Francesca and the Flames released "Rebel Chile,"which was nominated for an LA Music Award. She can be heard singing on commercials for Mattel and Mini Cooper (Mini vs. Monster) She is a member of the LA based Blues and Soul band THE SCORCH SISTERS http://www.thescorchsisters.com As a breast cancer survivor and advocate for the Avon Cares For Life Navigational Program, she performs at many fundraising events, including, The American Cancer Society, UCLA Cancer Research and City Of Hope Cancer Center in Los Angeles. Francesca can be seen playing a cancer survivor in the Showtime series Shameless alongside William H.
