Forever Her Nightmare

In the late 90s/early 2000s, the heavy rock and metal scenes were dominated by nu-metal bands. In the mid-2000s it was metalcore, and now the scene has seemed to have shifted towards deathcore. What does any of this have to do with Forever Her Nightmare? Absolutely nothing! Not that any of that music is particularly bad; the band is just not interested in following trends or being a part of the latest scene in heavy music. When the members of Forever Her Nightmare got together to start writing music in the summer months of 2009, they had enough similarities between them to be able to write songs in the vein of melodic metal. But it's actually their differences and specific tastes that give the band a truly unique sound. Most bands are content with copying the flavor-of-the-month and simply blending into an over-crowded scene or adding a subtle difference to an already established sound. This is not Forever Her Nightmare's game-plan. While mixing heavy music with melodic touches is not a ground-breaking combination, it's the way that the band delivers it that allows them to stand out. On top of that, they are able to do it without pigeon-holing themselves into one particular genre of metal music. The band is aware that not everyone will truly get what they're all about, and that's just fine. For those that have an open mind and are interested in a band that will always try to stand out from the pack, then Forever Her Nightmare hopes to see you at an upcoming show rocking out along with them.
