“If you missed the previous two CDS , THIS IS THE (H) TRAIN TO CATCH ! On their 3rd CD , Michael White (known for MAZE, etc) a long time friend has joined the Brown Brothers on drums and Alex Alessandroni on Keyboards and this makes this cd value for the money 8-10. The production is fresh and very clear, especially the bass Lines. They have a similar sound if you like Marcus Miller. If you have to put it into a category I will pick" Smoothjazz With Body" So take this (H) train and groove on……...”

"Hip and definitely in-the-pocket,Always High Reaching delivers funky smooth jazz mixed with a few soulful vocal tunes. Especially compelling is"And the Story Goes",which the Brown brothers wrote for Brian Simpson and here offers a version just as tasty as his."
