Emily West Afanador

Emily West has been performing professionally in the Pacific Northwest for 15 years. A singer/songwriter, West is one of the rare female singing-drummers to emerge on any rock and roll stage. Her discography includes recordings with her own bands (Local Buddha 1994-2004; Telepathic Dumpster 2004-present; Fancy Bandits 2008-2010). She appears as a studio musician (Mollie Ziegler, Seeker 2008), and has backed up other northwest performers (Beverly Graham). She has performed in Seattle’s Benaroya Hall, and has opened for national acts (Country Joe and the Fish; Georgia Satellites).
