DYME
DYME..... This female Hip Hop artist has often been portrayed as an artist whose image or physical is pushed to the forefront over her talent. An artist whose success is measured off of co-signs and relationships, a leader, the face, the voice, the lady of a male dominated movement. Within the last 3 years, Yonkers NY Native Recording Artist DYME has succeeded at changing that perception. This artist who has molded herself into nothing less than a true entertainer has always had the drive, consistency, and a grind that has ultimately brought her career many attributes and a well respected name to Hip Hop Music. DYME also known as Miss do you Matter, has been credited and praised for her artistry, dynamic showmanship, work ethic leadership, and humbleness. The industry began to take notice to this young yet talented female in early 2007 with her smash solo hit Vibing off the "Westcheddr 7" album Throughout her closely followed underground journey, she's had a habit of making history while gaining national exposure. In 2008, DYME crossed over to the pop charts working with R&B sensation of London Chris Doran on the remake of Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car".... Truly amazed by the self promotion, resume of live performances, stage presence and of course that raw street lyrical style of music coming from this petite young lady, Dyme has proven to be able to hold her own. "Witting is just something I do" she states" with little change of emotion, "I have been through a lot and plan on going threw some more so it just comes very natural"! With a minor setback leaving Nash Music Group who produced her first solo album Dyme Piece in late 2009, this young lady continues to grind with poise so when asked Do You Matter? The answer should always be Exactly. WRITTEN BY: The Ghost Black Hip Hop Ent.
