DICKTRACY are 5 dudes with real struggles and are into playing heavy music with the addition of moody element as an expression towards everything that has happened in their lives. DICKTRACY is heavily influences by a few modern metalcore band such as For The Fallen Dreams, Misery Signals, Emmure, The Acacia Strain along with old stuff like Poison The Well, Hopesfall and Shai Hulud with some breakdowns, the melody, down-tempo will brings the new kind of sound to the local scene. DICKTRACY has been playing with many foreign act such as Misery Signals [US], Antagonist AD [New Zealand], Carpathian [Aus], Here After [Aus], Endzweck [Japan], Give Life [Japan], Burgerkill [Indonesia] along with many local acts such as Restraint, Cassandra, Second Combat, Kids On The Move, Burnout, Bleeding Mascara, Incarnation, Arheum Revert, The Padangs, Starting Fight, Eleven, Mouthful of Air, also Singaporean acts such as Vermillion, For Better Ending. DICKTRACY had successfully releasing their first debut CD entitled Post Script Form The Lovelorn released by Holdstill Record, Malaysia. The CD is already done and ready to hit the market around October 2010 and available at every show that the band will involve also some booth run by a few labels. The CD contains 10 tracks with the elements such as down tempo and breakdowns, some moody melodies with rage vocals delivery. For the fans of For The Fallen Dreams, Emmure and Misery Signals
