He's witnessed the comings and goings of various groups, styles, and regions, but he has always recognized the importance of honesty in music. Few artists have been able to capture the everyday struggle of the average person vividly and interestingly enough to compete with the extreme dramatizations that have become prevalent in today's rap music.
