Q: April 1st Steve sounds great? How did you get to be so good at writing songs? JFL aka Lip

A: Thanks for asking. Songwriting is our focus and what drew us together. Steve writes a lot and has been honing his craft for 30+ years. It's 10% inspiration, 90% perspiration! Lots of listening to other well written songs in the beginning, and just working out things with lots of editing, trial and error, and performing to see what reaches people and resonates. Steve writes from the heart, experience, and what he knows, and April 1st is one of his best. In the year plus since he wrote it (on April 1, 2013 - the video was shot just weeks afterwards) the working title has grown on us and will remain.
