Crash Overcast

Just a group of guys that met in Culver City, CA in August of 2015. As the summer came to a close the pop punk magic arose from within and we formed Crash Overcast! Armed with only 2 complete songs we quickly finished 2 more learned a cover and within 2 weeks played our first show with our great buddies The Allright! From there we took to writing more music and performing as much as we can. Our Debut Music Video for "Shoulda Swiped Left" debuted in December 2016 followed but the release of our debut EP "Too Close to Call" featuring 6 tracks including one acoustic track. Check it out here, facebook and all other places social media! Meet the band: Alex Kurnow plays guitar and sings in Crash Overcast. He began writing songs in college for kicks and became more serious about transforming them into full band arrangements in 2015. He enjoys punk rock in all of its forms and draws influence for songwriting everywhere from early pop punk, post hardcore, and new pop punk. When he’s not writing music, you can find Alex at a skate park doing nollie pop shuvits. JDH aka JD aka The J Diz aka The J Dizzle aka The DownTown Captain aka The Captain aka Cap is the bassist and attempts vocals when he feels like ruining a Crash Overcast song. He has been playing bass and guitar for several years now drawing a lot of influences from pop punk, pop, easycore, hardcore, post hardcore, metalcore, all the cores, metal and all of its sub-genres as well and all of the punk rock sub-genres and even country. Yes, that's right I said it Country! JD loves his colors in his instruments, especially purple and always looking for a bass to bench. Jeff Schroeder is the drummer for Crash Overcast and is currently working on his bio, but not really. So come back soon!
