The 20th Annual Bones and Brew Festival is a celebration of BBQ and beer in NW Portland’s Pearl District. Held Saturday, August 2 from noon to 9:00pm and Sunday, August 3 from noon to 5:00pm, Bones and Brew is an all age’s street festival. The festival will also be the site of the Annual Meeting of the Rogue Nation Citizens. The State of the Nation will be addressed and proclamations will be proclaimed. All citizens are called to attend. New to the festival this year, the Rogue Nation BBQ Championships, BBQ’ers will be competing for a $3000.00 purse and the bragging rights that come with being the BBQ Champion of the Rogue Nation. The festival will also feature a Hot Wing Eating Contest, Kobe Blue Ball Eating Contest, barbecue vendors, live music and more. Bones and Brew is a benefit for the Portland New Generations Rotary’s PNG Empowers, a series of international and local service projects for empowering individuals through education, entrepreneurship and healthcare. 12pm - Blue Honey 1:30pm - Country Trash 3:30pm - Ben Rice and the iLLamatics 5pm - Rose City Rats
