Conscious Kane

Conscious Kane is a 19 year old Hip-Hop Artist born in New Jersey. He moved to Virginia at a young age and has lived there ever since. Musical talent running in his family spurred him to start rapping at the young age of 8 and released his first project at 15. Currently he's making his mark in the Hampton Roads area. Music is not just a hobby or something this young man feels like he's just good at, but rather what he feels is his life purpose. Along his mission he hopes to inspire all those who listen to his music. What truly stands out about Conscious Kane is his wisdom at such a young age. This is highly visible in his lyrical ability and storytelling. His music will encourage those who listen; to think , question, and explore interesting concepts that influence nearly all those who walk the earth. The superb talent in his recordings transfer over to the stage, his energy and dominant crowd connection enables him to be labeled as a great performer at any venue. His music hits the soul and most audiences can feel or relate to what he is saying. Also His skills go farther than rapping , he is also an outstanding hip-hop/rap producer and videographer, shown when he produces some of the beats he raps over and directs and edits his own music videos. Currently he has the internet buzzing with his recent release "The Clarity Project" with songs like "Soul Food for Thought" surfacing on my internet radio stations and appearing on many blogs. Performed at Venues such as the Infuzions Club (RVA) & The Canal Club (RVA) , Ella Fitzgerald Cultural Arts Center(Newport News, VA) , Old Dominion University , Norfolk State University , Mary Baldwin University , DC indie Film Festival , Wesley House(Norfolk,VA) ,and African-American Heritage Festival (Norfolk,VA). Currently he is working on a new project entitled "Foolish Dream" that he plans to release August 2013 via DatPiff.
