Claudia Heidegger

Born in the mountains of Tyrol, Austrian singer songwriter Claudia Heidegger grew up with a love for music and performing, playing the guitar, the violin and the piano from an early age. After graduating from school at the age of 17, Claudia competed and won a place at the prestigious Mozarteum University of Music where she continued her classical musical training. It was during those years of intense studying when she founded her first band, started to write own original songs, and discovered her love for acoustic singer-songwriter and folk music! When the band broke up during a busking trip to Ireland, Claudia decided to pack her belongings and moved across the channel to London in late 2011, dreaming to make it big in the 'Big Smoke'. Since then she has been aiming to conquer the "Kingdom Far Far Away" from within and to make a place for herself in London's music scene. Claudia's first five track EP "How I Want To Keep It", recorded in February 2012, is telling stories about life & love, hopes & fears and finding yourself in a world both terrifyingly beautiful and beautifully terrifying. She mixes simple arrangements with a pure voice and fragile sounds that captivate your mind and open your ear to the imaginative lyrics. Her follow-up EP "The Other Side"released end of May 2013, is available from all major download platforms (iTunes, Amazon, Google Play...), as well as in a limited edition of #150 handcrafted physical copies, complete with handmade artwork and a handwritten note. Claudia is gigging regularly all around London since the middle of 2012, presenting her own material old and new, and also giving a personal spin on the occasional cover song. Catch her performing and have a look at her upcoming dates!
