Clara's Silence

Clara’s Silence is an intense expression of creativity and musical influence. Inspiration has taken hold of this fine Calgary band and the result is a collection of ballsy and catchy numbers with swagger and style. Influenced by strong and diverse acts like Bad Religion, Led Zeppelin, Deftones, and The National, Clara’s Silence brings a very decent offering to the alternative rock community. Clara’s Silence formed in the summer of 2010 and have since recorded a three song demo, built a solid one-hour set, played several shows, and have topped off their first year with the crafting of a 5 song EP, which is currently being mixed. The live show has proven time and time again to be a head turner. The thundering combination of Shand’s rip roaring drumming and Ryan’s gut pumping bass is equaled only by Ben’s slick guitar licks. As for the vocals, if Nathan’s aggressive baritone doesn’t grab you than surely his dance moves will! Together, they create an entertaining and diverse show that is sure to quicken the pulse. Clara’s Silence attributes its success to the chemistry that runs strong through the group. Inside and outside of the jam space the four gentlemen are good friends. Whether taking in concerts, climbing in the Rockies, or simply enjoying a beverage, the four are tight.
