CLAMPDOWN is ready to deliver you its own vision. In this 2012 horizon, when all seems to be done, when musical industry is in danger, when the whole world seems to explode….we are here… to give you this unique thing musicians can offer : our heart and guts, and this album made with work and perseverance. It took several years to create this identity and make CLAMPDOWN sound unique. That’s strong metal, no mistake about that, but…the guys are more than metal heads. The idea’s to give musical violence its real place, and bring some kind of sweetness inside chaos. All is a matter of intensity. Main influences would be: Gojira and Meshuggah for loudness and complexity, Opeth and Katatonia for beauty and rest.
