Chuck Cliff

Born in the US, I have been living in Denmark since 1968 and am well known in singer-songerwriter circles here. My songs are colorful and varied in styles and content and aimed for the hearts of listeners. Those familiar with my songs have compared them to those of P. Seeger, L. Cohen and Tom Lehrer. I care little for the tastes and illusions of the media in general and the music industry in particular. Three CDs and two poetry collections have been published on my home label. Life is a song and the song is in the singing, all else is illusion. My time and energy since retirement in 2008 has been devoted to developing song, poetry and other writings, both new and as far back as 1964. Assuming there is enough left of the world for anything of our time to be remembered in, one day perhaps, something of work like this will be known all over the world. That's an act of faith, and a sort of apology to our children and grandchildren. I was born in Podunk, Indiana and raised in Poosah City, Florida and have lived expat in The Happy Little Kingdom of Denmark most of my adult life, 40 years married, with three children and five grandchildren. Until then, remember, my published songs are copyrighted with NCB (Nordic Copyright Bureau and my written works with the Danish Nat'l Archives. Love being aware and peace to all living beings.
