Carol Parker Schafer

A music fan and fanatic my entire life, I’ve always been involved in singing and playing music. I started on piano, then learned 5-string banjo and guitar. Writing music is my passion now, and I released my first album a few months ago. It's called “Around My World”, an eclectic collection of what’s in my head – everything from rock to ballads to bluegrass. Now I perform with SheSings - an acoustic trio featuring my original songs and covers in the Americana style. The musicians in the group are myself on acoustic guitar and vocals (sometimes banjo!), Susan Colwell on vocals, and Tracy Parker on bass guitar and vocals. The rich blend of their alto, tenor and bass voices creates a vibrant, compelling sound that surprises and delights the audience. Songs are carefully chosen and written to create a warm, engaging atmosphere in which listeners feel like part of the performance. With humor always part of their show, SheSings always delivers good fun and great music.
