Burnside & Hooker
Based out of Chicago, Burnside & Hooker merges together the styles of Americana, indie pop/rock, and soulful blues. Burnside & Hooker is Rachel Bonacquisti (vocals), Diana Mayne (viola, keys, vocals), Mike Vogus (guitars, ukulele), Ted Graham (cello), Ken Fuller (bass) and Michael Vuckovich (percussion). Since the release of their debut album "Rail Yard Hymns" in September of 2013, Burnside & Hooker has become a household name in the Chicago music scene. B & H has shared the stage with likes of Local H, Bailiff, S Joel Norman, Simpleton & Cityfolk, Paper Thick Walls and Honey & The 45's, and have played in some of Chicago's most prodigious venues (Schuba's, Lincoln Hall, Double Door, Metro and House of Blues). Recently, Burnside & Hooker received their first taste of the Chicago festival scene as a part of the bill for Chillfest, Green Music Fest and Lobster Fest. "Red Betty," "Strangers," "Mistaken" and "Myth" from "Rail Yard Hymns" have received regular air play on UIC Radio, Fearless Radio, WLUW, Vocalo.org and Chicago Independent Radio Project (CHIRP), and multiple tracks from the album have appeared as the Song of the Day on Chicago Music Guide. Burnside & Hooker is currently in pre-production for their follow up album to "Rail Yard Hyms" and planning tour dates for 2015.
