Blast Furnace was birthed around 2006. Originally a project in experimental electronics, the Furnace switched gears recently towards a more hardcore sound. After a jam session in early '10, both players were transfixed by a new, and highly compelling sound. Combining metalcore grooves with a palate of mutating, dynamic electronic sounds, the duo have created something strange and unique. Zach Scott plays finely crafted blast-beats of death; Kursse manipulates a variety of electronic equipment to mold a deadly soundscape for a new age of metal. Let the incineration begin!
