Blakface

Blakface is a hip hop Group which consist of Cousins- Mc/Engineer(Funk)Logik(Nate Johnson)representing West Covina, CA & and Midwest Native Mc/Producer Kaleem"Sincere"Wasif(Alonzo Adams)representing South Bend, IN. They formed this group 2 years ago from the offspring of the Mega Group "The Cov Originals" which consist of Rap/Producer Duo and CovOriginalMusicLLC Founders Hawdwerk&JansportJ,and other talented Mc's, Poetik Force, Sean Wyze, Avi The Most Ill,and D.King. Blakface represents the Minstrel Show era and how it applies to the games present mindstate and business propositions. Back in the days, black people or "People Of Color" where not allowed to perform on stage w/out wearing black paint on there face or "Blakface". We still live with the oppression and pain and suffering of the past and we need to teach the new generation of hip hop artist to represent thier roots and stand up for a cause. Irronically Funklogik And Kaleem have a great uncle who performed in the Mistrel Shows. Its in thier blood to represent the struggle. In May 2010 Blakface dropped thier first project of a mix of classic bangers produced by a wide range of producers from Uk genious Josh G, West Covinian Jansport J, Crush From the Beat Boyz, and musiscian extrodinair Mike Wofford. On Sept the 21st 2010 entitled "Past Due". It consist of a all live instrumtal album fully produced by Mike Wofford. w/ vocals by bass player/producer Thomas Drayton and Also Mike Wofford.Just take a listen to the music and let it speak for itself.
