Biogenesis

The inovative and ground breaking metal band known as Biogenesis was originaly formed by it's front man Chaz Bond in the late 1990's. His vision to form a unique band by intentionaly combining several different styles into one unconventional sound would eventually pay off. By the year 2000 the band had landed a deal with "Rowe Productions". The bands debute album "The Mark Bleeds Through" was released in 2001 igniting a huge buzz in the underground. Following a tour with "Mortification" Biogenesis began writing for a sophmore album. However a revolving door of member changes began to slow the bands progress between 2002 and 2005. Then suddenly in late 2005 the band had unexpectedly come to a premature end about a year after vocalist Chaz Bond had joined the melodic metal band "Jacobs Dream" ( under a Metal Blade Records contract at that time ). Shortly after the demise of Bio, Chaz announced the forming of a new band called "Human Paradox" featuring ex "Legacy" and ChopsFromHell instructor/guitarist Darin Moore. The new band never released an album would go on to play live shows between 2005 and 2011. In 2009 Biogenesis announced that it was reuniting for at least one reunion album. After initially signing with "Retroactive Records" the band soon parted ways with the Label and signed with Australia's "Soundmass". The original lineup began playing shows once again after a four year absence from the scene. In 2012 the long awaited sophomore album now titled "The Rise The Fall The Rebirth" was released. Shortly after the release the band parted ways with long time Guitarist James Riggs and announced long time "Human Paradox" member Darin Moore as the new guitarist. After some thought the band decided to make a comeback rather than just a reunion. The band is preparing for thier first string of live shows with new axe man Darin Moore and is now writing for a third album........Stay tuned!
