Billie Jr was born and raised in Richmond, CA. The name Billie Jr comes from her grandmother whose nickname was Billie. Everyone called her Billie Jr. because she was just like her grandmother. Billie Jr was raised in a musical family; her mom a jazz singer and almost everyone in her family played an instrument. She started witting poetry in the 4th grade and when she heard Missy Elliott Rap she knew she wanted to turn her own poems into rap lyrics. It wasn't until she age 18 that she started to broadcast her self. Music from that period can still be found on myspace.com/billi3jr. With years of recording and performing, Billie has transformed into the hottest female rapper in the bay. Not only does she rap, but she also edits & directs her own music videos. She hopes to improve all of her skills and make it big in the music industry.
