BebeRequin

BebeRequin plays pop-folk with influences as diverse as the poetry of Baudelaire, the lilting of a Haitian lullaby, and the cadences of Kraftwerk. Matt Everett (guitar, accordion, vocal, etc.) has been a soundtrack composer and a fixture of the Providence music scene, Eyesores alumnus and session hack for Bonnie Prince Billy, Espers, and others. Rachel Rosenkrantz-Riemer (vocal, contrabass) aside from smoky vocals brings a musical training that ranges from baroque guitar to Yiddish choral singing to deejaying electronica. Drummer, percussionist and background vocalist, Greg Motta, a.k.a “Gemo”…joined Bebe Requin in December of 2012. A veteran to the general business music scene in Southern New England, he’s excited about working in this original ensemble. We welcome him into the shark family.
