Awaken Solace

Combining a brooding fusion of melancholic beauty and intensely orchestrated metal, Awaken Solace is a symphonic power metal band unwavering in their musical quest! Having released two full-length albums ‘In Nightfall’s Embrace’ (2012) & fantasy concept album MYTHANDRIEL (2017), the band has built an international fan base in the underground symphonic and power metal scene. 2018 sees Solace embark on a new adventure with an expansion at its base between performance and composition, Australia and the UK. Both albums boast of a fantasy laden soundtrack incorporating live choirs, orchestral arrangements and a high quality production which includes the mastering of MYTHANDRIEL by Mika Jussila of Finnvox Studios, Finland (Nightwish, Sonata Arctica). In live performance Awaken Solace has shared the stage with international heavy weights such as Apocalyptica (twice), Kamelot and Queensrÿche, making them a popular choice to support some of the world’s most acclaimed symphonic and power metal touring acts. Solace also have a growing tour portfolio of their own which has seen them perform up and down Australia’s east coast. The realm now has its sights on writing a third album and venturing as far as their expanding army of solace soldiers will take them. The time of awakening has only just begun…
