AJ Bishop

Anna Jane Bishop is a 17 yr old High School student. She is a Pop/Indie/Rock Country singer who has been singing professionally since she was 8 years old. Starting in musical theater, Anna has performed at all the major venues in Portland, OR (Artists Rep Theater, PCS, Portland Opera, NWCT, NCP and more) in musical theater, opera, and dramatic productions, including 'Ragtime' at Portland Center Stage, where she played the Little Girl, which won an award for best musical of the year. She sings with the award winning select choral group The Marions at her HS. She won the OR State Vocal Competition (MS/district), came in top 5 in states in 2016 (solo soprano) and sings the National Anthem at numerous large venues including the Rose Garden for the Portland Trail Blazers (NBA) for over 20K people, Portland Timbers Soccer (MLS) with 22K seats, the Oregon State Fair and the Clackamas County Rodeo. Anna sang Christmas at the Cathedral with the Oregon Symphony, sings classical music with the Pacific Youth Choir, and has performed twice with the Portland Opera at the Keller Auditorium (Tosca and Turandot). Anna also records professionally for the Oregon Catholic Press. Newly signed to a development/production contract with a well known LA music producer, Anna is working on more original music and lyrics! Also a very accomplished dancer and actor, Anna has experience in film, commercial/television, and more.
