AMOEBA STARFISH

AMOEBA STARFISH is Phil Ogison, guitars and synths, and Jeff Howard, E-drums, Wavedrum synth and vocal textures. Formed in 2009 from the ashes of HAROLD and the experimentation of The Devil In The Design, Amoeba Starfish takes elements of ambient, groove and psychedelia and frames the music in a jazz approach. Phil and Jeff like to call this 'Quantum Jazz', as the components take on various amounts of each influence creating a 'Post Everything' genre. We have listened to and indeed played so many genres of music over the last 40 years or so, that to list any one band as being a major influence is just impossible.
