Alphanaut is an electronica project fronted by singer/songwriter Mark Alan, which lifted off in 2008 after a decade away from song writing. Mark had written and recorded music since highschool and played in bands around Seattle before heading to Los Angeles at twenty-one. He wrote and performed with various musicians around the Los Angeles area and formed the band ‘November’ in the early 90’s.

However, during the time between fall of 2007 and summer of 2008 the instinct to write songs came back with a vengeance and over two dozen new works took shape. Five of these pieces have been included on Alphanaut's debut EP "The Lunar Age".
