AlleyKattz

AlleyKattz began in 2005 when Katy Miller and Alan Edwards formed an acoustic duo (AlleyKat) and performed at various open mics, parties, street fairs and opening for local bands in the Puget Sound area. Their goal in performance was to bring a variety of songs to their audiences that were normally not heard in a club setting. If they did cover a familiar song, then they put their own stamp on it, re-creating the interpretation of the music to present it in a new light. Out of this exposure and experience they decided to take their duo one step farther, and so AlleyKattz was formed. Staying true to the core philosophy, the band AlleyKattz is determined to maintain the goal of performing fun, lively and interesting songs as well as encourage audience inter-action and participation
