AKA has been playing an eclectic brand of music that we like to call City and Western since 1996 in the Fort Collins, Windsor, and Greeley, CO area. With musical influences from Bakersfield to Cajun Louisiana, from Nashville Newgrass to Memphis Rock-A-Billy, AKA’s music will evoke your past and present. What do cars, trucks, cowboys, miners, surfers, and girls and guys have in common? Good, fun music, that’s what! You’ll enjoy originals, songs from up-and-coming local musicians, Elvis, Lyle Lovett, the Mavericks, the Surfaris, Johnny Cash, John Prine, Patsy Cline, Dwight Yoakum, Merle Haggard, and Queen (just to name a few). We take requests but may play them with a different twist. Audience participation is encouraged. AKA plays long and happy, so parties don’t lose a step.
