Red Honey

Bearing a sound dubbed as the secret love child of Johnny Cash and Grace Slick, Red Honey embodies a dirty rockin' sound both nostalgically vintage and hauntingly catchy. The band came together in 2010 as an evolution of Erika Jane & Remember the Bees? "Music that puts you in the mood for the no-no-cha-cha", winks Erika Jane who writes, sings and plays guitar and the whip on most of the numbers. The whip? Yes, the whip on a cymbal. You gotta see it to believe it. She is supported by Brad Pope on lead guitar, Brent Sevier on the upright bass and JonPaul Hess on keys. Their first official album, Red Honey and the Pleasure Chest was met with great accolaides in 2013. Currently they are working on their upcoming EP and touring the Southeast.
