“This was a technically difficult and tightly executed piece. Some fast and furious guitar work, with tightly executed unison lines puncuated by precise staccato drums. Musicians music,, Gotta love it.
“I like the intro, very nice and creative arrangement. It's a pity the production sounds very thin, soft and not very compact (well, I turned up the volume and that seems to help).
This track reminds me of old Yes tracks (Relayer comes to mind). Complicated structure, over the top (in a good way) guitars, inventive drums, growling bass and a spacy, out-of-this-world atmosphere. Really, you should produce this in a better way (Louder and more bottom) and you have an incredable track.
I liked it! Excellent prog rock here.
“Love it! My initial thouht was Slayer, but it turned into something I couldn't place. Great tone! The leads are tight with the drums. That's the sound I'm going for, the leads sound similar to dave mustaine's. F**kin killer, good job. By the way, I like the synth solos also.”
“A very ingenious composition with a lot of interesting parts. Great synths, sounds and great guitars. I especially like the grooves that you have in most parts: driving, almost floating rhythmes.
Great guitar solo around 4 mins.
A musical journey that takes us back to the glory days of progressive rock (The whole thing reminds me of early Rush..). Well done, loved it.
loved the sound to this song- heavy and creative. I liked the intro guitar effect. Great effort! Would sit in well with Pro Wrestling enterance music!
I gotta admit, my first reaction was "oh great. Another group of Dream Theater rip-offs." I quickly found out however, that I was quite mistaken.
While the initial sound was similar to a Dream Theater instrumental, these guys then created a sound all their own, showing that creating a mood is more important than musical self-indulgence. And while all the instruments were VERY well played, it never detracted from the feel of the song.
It was also very well written, never getting boring in its 6 minutes. The guitar work was not just good but engaging. Reminded me more of Alex Lifeson from Rush than John Petrucci. The drums were also very well done. Again the talent is abundant but rather than overdoing it with constant unnecessary rolls, it complimented the mood of the song very well (with noone missing a beat in the constant timing changes either)
Great instrumentation, great arrangement, great production. A 5 star song easy.”
“Nice melody. Sounds like an homage to a lost friend. Excellent guitar good energy and silky bass line. Everytime I listen to it I hear something new. Loved it!!”
