Roots Rock | Folk Rock | Singer-Songwriter
Hazen Sage is a Canadian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Vancouver, British Columbia, whose original music blends the energy of rock with the storytelling traditions of folk and roots music. With a distinctive voice, heartfelt lyrics and an independent musical spirit, Sage creates songs that move between intimate acoustic moments and powerful, driving arrangements.
His performance history includes opening for John Fogerty on two occasions, along with sharing stages with Tom Wilson (Junkhouse, Blackie and the Rodeo Kings) and Clayton Bellamy. His song “Divine” earned runner-up recognition at the 2012 Vancouver Island Music Awards. Sage has also performed at numerous festivals and live music venues throughout his career.
Following an extended period away from touring, Sage returned to recording with IKYK (I Know You Know), a 22-track album of original music released in August 2026. The collection reflects his range as a songwriter, combining memorable melodies, personal storytelling and the raw emotion that runs throughout his work.
Now preparing to return to live performance as a solo artist, Sage is bringing his music back to the stage in a stripped-down acoustic format, placing the focus on the songs, the voice and the connection with the audience.
