*The purpose of this event is to raise money to donate to local non-profit organizations that help children. 100% of this money goes to Blues Cats For Kids for distribution to non-profit organizations. Every single person involved with the production of BCFK is a volunteer! (And we are looking for a few more volunteers to work the membership booth. Call Carl at 208.772.9401 or Ted at 509.534.8185).
*Money collected at Blues Cats For Kids goes to two different Volunteers of America affiliated organizations: Crosswalk, in Spokane; and Project Safe Place, in Coeur d’Alene.
*Doubling up on our opportunity to collect for non-profit organizations that offer help to those who need it, we are also asking that patrons ( 21 & over only~No cover charge) bring food to donate to The Second Harvest Food Bank. Always in need of food and cash donations, the Food Bank is a likely candidate for our help. You know what is needed: canned goods, dry foods, peanut butter, pretty much anything that won’t spoil. Please give generously. We’ll collect it at the event and deliver it to the food bank.
*We’ll be happy to accept your donations, just contact Ted at 509.534.8185 or just bring your item to the event with you! (If you bring it to the event with you, please have a card with your name and the value of the donated item with it.)
*Items will be auctioned between music sets, and we’ll take your personal check, we like cash too, but we can’t take credit cards. If you know you can’t make it to the event but wish to donate to this great cause, you can mail a donation to the Inland Empire Blues Society at: PO Box 9126, Spokane, WA. 99209-9126. Just mark your check: Blues Cats For Kids on the memo line.
