After enjoying a few months of acoustic sabbatical brought on by Josh's membership in a full-time ashram, ROWE is returning to the stage with a fully-wired electric set at the Blue Moon Tavern with Sweetlix and Jori & The Push.
But anyway, back to Josh. The lack of drums in his life was driving him crazy and, in the man's own words, "I like, really, like, just needed a change, man. Like, stuff is just so stressful, man. People just need to, like, chill, man."
Turns out this ashram wasn't, as its website said, "a revitalizing and beautiful escape from the rigors of progressive organizing (namaste)", but instead a SUICIDE CULT. Luckily, a strapping adventurer named Alonso Silva happened to be wandering past the heavily-guarded compound and rescued Josh from his own, richly-deserved fate.
It turns out that Mr. Silva is an accomplished drummer of some repute, and Josh, out of deep-seated gratitude, offered him the drumming gig on the spot (i.e. after several practices).
Come see the new and improved ROWE! That is to say, a new lineup—and improved survival instincts.
