THROATPUNCH- (GMA's "BEST ROCK BAND" '12)
Formed in the Summer of 2008 by Victor Ferlaino (Black, Manic) Robert Arsenault (Manic), Paul Lawrence (Manic, Black), and Adam Lahr (Forge by Fire, Lost in the Void, Jesus Chrysler) the band released their self-titled debut, "Throatpunch" in 2010. The album was finished, produced, and released with the help of Corey (Eye Empire, Stuck Mojo) and Clint Lowery (Sevendust, Korn). After several months, Samplebocker (AAA, Infernal Machine) jumped out of a broom closet in the back of the rehearsal space and never left. We keep him in a cage. After the release of the album and several shows with John Charles Bobbit (Infernal Machine, Hot Rods) (God rest his soul) on lead guitar, Ashley Taylor stepped in and has been with the band ever since, ever becoming a more dominant creative force in the group. After hundreds of shows, winning a Georgia Music Award (Best Rock Band, 2012), and years of writing, rhythm guitarist, Robert Arsenault had to leave the band in order to save his life and care for his family. We'll miss you. Mr. Webb Huffstatler (Dequelo, Jesus Chrysler) has stepped in for Bob. Victor Ferlaino left the band in the summer of 2013 and drummer, Kevin Welborn (Dequelo, All My Vices at Once, Jesus Chrysler) has stepped up and is currently tracking drums at Led Belly Sound Studios for the new album, "can't understand normal thinking" which is scheduled for release in November, 2013. The band delivers dark melody with bone-crushing grooves and devastating hooks. The live performance has always and will always speak for itself.

LEGION X- (GA MUSIC AWARDS, "BEST METAL BAND" '13)
Rome conquered the world with its inspiration from the countries around it, and the drive to rule all the eye could see. The tip of its mighty spear was its tenth legion that lasted nearly the whole span of the empire, a group of common men gifted with the favor of the
gods to march against the armies of the world, no one man greater than the man at his side. They were Legion X…… Legion X was formed in 2006 and spent four years on the road promoting the band’s debut album “Demonic Hour”,and having much success, but Syd Howell and Kurtis Campbell did not find the bands winning line up until 2008, then embarking on two national tours in 2008 and 2009, and as well in 2009, became the official metal band of Chambers of Horror .The band went into the studio in 2011 with with industry icons Matt Washburn mixing, Rodney Mills mastering (Greg Allman, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Outlaws, Rage Against The Machine and more), and the legendary metal drummer Kevin Talley (Dying Fetus, Misery Index, Chiamira and The Black Dahlia Murder), laying the foundation for one hell of a album. “BEAT BY NOTHING” is an album that fans of all metal genres can appreciate. Expect songs derived from blood, sweat and tears - it delivers anything from heavy grooves, to melodic and classical guitars, in your face vocals, warm yet thunderous bass tones, and screaming solos with huge in-the-pocket drumming displaying their efforts to be beat by nothing.2012 marked a new era for the band, not only with another album under their belt and a rigorous tour schedule in the future, but with the promise for a gradual rise to power. The band was nominated for the Ga Music Awards metal band of the year for 2013 and won. Legion X are currently writing the new album with plans to release in the spring/summer of 2014 as well as two national tours. one west coast and one east coast in support of the new album. See you in your town.Legion X has shared the stage with these national acts… *BLACK LABEL SOCIETY *DEVILDRIVER *SOULFLY *NAPALM DEATH *JOB FOR A COWBOY *MUSHROOMHEAD *CELTICFROST *DESTUCTION *OTEP *SOILWORK *GOATWHORE *SKELETONWITCH *KATAKALYSM *BURY YOUR DEAD *SUFFICATION *1349 *ORIGIN *VITAL REMAINS *DARKANE *ARTIMUS PYLDRIVER *MISERY INDEX *AND MANY MORE
A Spalding County man, Justin King, was arrested Saturday night for creating a public disturbance and aggravated assault of an electric guitar.
A vagrant, homeless man, Steve Tuggle was picked up at the same location and charged with panhandling and sexual battery of a bass guitar.
A Pike County man, Shane Boyd, was arrested the same night for attempted murder of drums, assault with a deadly weapon, resisting arrest, assault of a police officer, DUI, and public indecency.
These three criminals have been known to operate together since 2010. They play loud heavy music that generally does not suck.
HellBent is from Auburn, AL. The band was founded by Mike Daniels and David Pruitt in 2005 as a studio project with songs like “Sacrifice” and “Gabriel”. In early 2012 Mike and David decide to go fulltime with the project. HellBent went through many changes at first. After trying out a couple of guitarists, drummers and bassist They finally found the right fit with Jonathan Taunton on drums, William Pouncey on bass and Jimmy Johnson on lead guitar. Our main goal with HellBent is to create original music unlike the cookie cutter trash that is polluting the Metal genre today.
Featuring Jade Lemons of Injected and his bro, thedeadRight delivers pounding rock'n'roll grooves in the vein of Queens of the Stone Age.
