the SILVER SHINE is a punk rock and roll / punkabilly trio from Budapest / HUNGARY with a thunder-handed female double bassist. Formed in 2004, the hard-working band has toured several times all over Europe, Brazil and rocked the USA; a total of 33! countries worldwide. Seeking inspiration from Social Distortion to Motorhead, The Silver Shine has managed to toss their influences with originality in a blender to create fresh and addictive music. They have got 6 full-length albums until now. Custom painted black/red upright bass, extreme energy, vintage microphones are the trademarks of the band on stage you cannot mistake for anything else.
BLOOD ON THE SADDLE began playing in Los Angeles in early 1983 with the line-up of Greg Davis on guitar/vocals,Ron Botelho on upright / electric bass, and Hermann Senac on drums/vocals. In July of 1983 Annette Zilinskas quit the Bangles and began singing in the band, later playing rhythm guitar and harmonica. The band's goal was to create a new style of American music by violently fusing country/western with punk rock. Playing the LA club scene in 1984 their self-titled debut album was released on the Minutemen's New Alliance (Enigma) label. The band toured North America until 1986 when their second album "Poison Love" was released in America on Chameleon/Suite Beat and in Europe on Stiff U.K. and New Rose. Touring then expanded into Canada and Europe. In 1987 The band's third album "Fresh Blood" was released on SST in North America and New Rose in Europe. The original line-up broke up soon after. Greg Davis spent the time between incarnations as a member of the Vandals and backing up country singer Candy Kane. Since then BOTS has released "More Blood" (1993 Semaphore), "Quit Calling Me From Jail" (1994,Kill Rock Stars), "New Blood" (1995, Last Call), "Flesh and Blood" (2001, One Million Dollar Records) and"The Mud, The Blood and The Beer" (2008). The current line-up in late 2012 includes founder Greg Davis Vocals/ Guitar, Kirk Mullins Bass//Vocals ,Keith Comey Drums. They are currently putting the finishing touches on a new album (True Blood) produced and mixed by Thomas Yearsly of the Paladins at Thunderbird Studios in Ca. Plans for a 2013 tour are in the works.
WRECKIN KATZ are a high-energy Psychobilly band who put on a great live show. They have toured a few times and will be a great match to Graveyard Johnnys as both bands have the same rock-n-roll energy, but with different styles.
