“I was recently turned on to a band out of my neck of the woods that I was totally unaware of. When I say my neck of the woods, I mean my old stomping grounds of Maywood, NJ, and I’m talking about a band called Seconds To Impact. I happened to see a link for them on a friend’s Facebook page and decided to give them a listen since they were so close to home, and I have to say that singer Alexander Caraballo is absolutely fantastic. What a powerful voice this guy has! Musically, I felt Seconds To Impact were incredibly talented, but also felt it sounded a little dated. Then again, what is dated these days? I really like it! A couple of key songs to check out are “Revelation Breakthrough,” “Wake Up,” and “You Got Me Running.” According to their bio, Seconds To Impact are a five-piece hard rock and metal band that thrives on carrying the torch that Ronnie James Dio and Black Sabbath ignited. "Revelation Breakthrough" is a brand new track from metal band Seconds To Impact, available here for free download. The group is based in Maywood, New Jersey and includes five members who all grew up with a steady diet of classic and modern metal. The album, titled Bring The Night On, was released in the Summer of 2012 and puts well on display the classic influences that Seconds To Impact tries to incorporate into their music. They are currently touring the northeast and recently had the good

“First, let us touch on a band called Seconds To Impact, which is one of the heaviest of heavy out there today. I love every minute and aspect of what they are all about, including image, attitude, demeanor, and more. They are a five-piece based out of Maywood, NJ, and have only been active for a short amount of time. However, don’t let that fool you, for they have done a lot in their careers! It was their motivating and positive attitude that grabbed my attention before I even heard their music. They were always sending out inspirational messages supporting the scene, and I think that is very important in order to gain respect not only from fans, but also from the industry in general. I also found them consistently commenting on other bands that I featured, asking to play shows with them and showing encouragement, and I found that to be super cool. Shortly thereafter, I made that wise decision of checking out their music. To be in a band as a carrier of thought, idea and emotion, one”
