Avenue Lane

Hickory, North Carolina's Avenue Lane blends various genres and influences to create a raw Blues and Rock 'n' Roll sound. Formed in summer of 2019 when founding member Rob Simmons (Guitar, Vocals) met Mark Woodward (Drums), the two quickly crafted a tight set list composed of energetic original songs and sing along covers ranging from blues, rock, country, reggae, mo-town, and more. Quickly the duo began playing regional venues from the foothills of Western, N.C. to the Piedmont Triad area. By winter 2019, the duo met bassist and back up vocalist Nate Roberts to round out the sound. Currently, the trio are taking advantage of the downtime, working on an E.P. of original songs including crowd favorites like "She the One I Know", "Sugar Coated", and "Wild Chance".
