Dutch-American-Maltese artist, Chellcy Reitsma, is fairly new to the music scene but not to the stage; a true artist in every capacity. She began her musical journey in 2015 after a multitude of dance injuries put her in a wheelchair for over a year, which forced her to find a new passion and career. Since her first single release in 2016, she has become an award winning, genre bending singer-songwriter, visual artist and poet based in Malta, EU full-time and in Nashville, TN part-time, known for her clever and poetic lyrics that inspire. She released her debut album ‘Momento Mori’ in Nov 2024 following the success of her 18 singles and her Black Water 4-track EP. She released her 2nd album ‘Carpe Diem’ in November of 2025. Her alternative music is a fusion that blends a myriad of rock styles and Americana. In Malta, her music videos have topped the video charts multiple times. She is also the 2024 and 2025 MMI Awards winner for Album of the Year and Single of the Year in Malta, the 2nd place winner in the Unsigned Only (Sync Your Song) competition in 2019, a semi-finalist in the ISC in 2023 for her ‘She-man’ song, and won an Artist in Residency INOVAIR at the Valletta Cultural Agency for her Desolate Days music project in 2020. Most recently she has been nominated 1x for the World Entertainment Awards 2025 and 9x nominated in the European International Music Awards in 2026.

Chellcy Reitsma became a Grammy voting member and contender in 2025/26.
