The Angle

Built upon a triad of Funk, Rock, and Jazz, THE ANGLE views the stage as a laboratory for musical experimentation, where they can fuse their sound with elements of modern dance music, latin-jazz, funk, hip-hop, caribbean vibes, progressive rock, and pop. The band propels listeners of all ages with their original compositions and very occasional choice covers.

The Angle has been radiating waves of sonic exuberance for over a decade at some of Colorado’s favorite venues including The Fox Theater, Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom, and Dazzle to name just a few. They have shared the stage with artists such as George Porter Jr., Robert Walter, Orgone, Turkuaz, Eddie Roberts, The Headhunters and Garrett Sayers Trio.

The Angle is Chris Long (bass), Brian Baxter (keys) and Alex Dobbs (drums). Each member has decades of experience in live performance, song-writing, and hand-crafted musical expression. Combined they are like putting tin foil in a microwave; dynamic and likely to leave a lasting impression.
