Red on Red / Press

“Album Review - RED ON RED PERFECT ALT ROCK WITH “PROVIDENCIA”. Red on Red is a band that features strong female lead vocals, much to be envious about. Overall, I’d have to say that the latest album from Red on Red embodies a sound that is perfectly true to the alternative rock genre, and is definitely worth the listen. If you’re looking for consistent vocals and impressive instrument playing, it’ll catch (and keep) your attention.”

“Album Review ----- Providencia” is not an overproduced, auto-tuned, mechanized record. This is just gritty, guitar-driven rock and roll. Though rock music can often times be found stale from an over-saturated market and radio, Red on Red brings a new take to the genre with as much ease as The Beatles brought to their own sound. The album is a collection of hard hitting songs that both showcase great musicianship, and extraordinary vocal work by Bonnie who is ready to take the world head on. Her vocals will leave a haunting echo in any listener’s heart, as she sings both personal and relatable lyrics over smashing drums and dirty guitars. Stand out tracks include the songs “Yesterday” and “Long Way From Heaven” – two songs that though polar opposites in tempo and texture, offer the same melody driven groove that gets retained in your mind long after listening.”

“Band review ----- With their Alternative Rock core leading the way, and the following of thee various genre additives, Red on Red look to become an international band with that unique sound that makes you ponder how to actually classify it. I fully enjoyed being able to review this band. From the start, I thought it would be just another band seeking fame in California, from how they were described to me. I found the pleasant surprise that they were the exact opposite. A four-piece band that came to California to not just share their music with the world, but to show the others how it is done. Becoming an instant fan after listening to just one track, this writer is very happy that Red on Red quit their day jobs to commit to their true calling, making great music. I will be one of the first in line when their new EP drops this summer.”
