“Ray Flanary grew up in Anson and took his passion for music to Tennessee. But some 10 years ago, he underwent a profound change. “I used to be a country recording act in Nashville and I walked away from that when my life was changed by Jesus Christ,” Flanary said. “I was still interested in music, so now I sing for him.” Flanary will appear in concert Saturday at Life Church. “I perform every chance I get,” he said. He will take the stage again next Saturday at Ridgemont Baptist Church. Joining him at Ridgemont Baptist will be Clay Jacobs and Paige Clinton Sproles.
