...our name?, we live in a small timber mill/farming town in the South West of Western Australia called Nannup....surrounding our town are many pine timber plantations, each with their own fire fighting water tanks, each numbered for locating...one in particular, only a couple of km's from town, sits on an incredibly high hill that overlooks the town, and pretty much the whole world. It is known as tank 7. Because of the incredible views from tank 7, it has become an iconic landmark for our town for generations...the locals more than often party on the site; walk to the site for exercise, (because of the very steep climb); entertain visitors; go to see the sun set or watch the oncoming thunder storms; sometimes, people just park up there to contemplate or think. It is rumoured that it is a popular "lovers lookout"...(some locals even joke that half the town was conceived up there...hehe) Anyway, when we were naming the band, we wanted a name that represented us locally. Nick, (guitarist/trumpeter), suggested tank 7, then Bill, (drummer), suggested the design Tank 7even, using the number 7 as the S, and Franca, (guitarist/singer) designed a great logo. So, welcome to the world of Tank 7even...Gary
