The Alarm Clock Song Video is now online

The Alarm Clock Song video is now online at youtube so please take the time to have a look at the video and pass the link on.

It was great fun to make and I think that comes across in the video.

If you haven't already got a cd, you can download it online at Bandcamp or from amazon as well as from your independent record stores such as Avalanche, Europa records, Elvis Shakespeare and Love Music.

I'm also pleased to announce that we will be following this video release up with two more videos in the near future. There Will come A Day, another track from 5 Miles To Sunrise has a video ready to go that was also made by Daryl Cockburn of Slightly Imperfect Films and we are also moving closer to completing Rocket Scientist in late January.

By coming to see us live, watching the videos, listening to the songs and joining the mailing list you are supporting an independent band and all the musicians and artists involved. We've managed to make a great video without the backing of a major record label or funding and I think that's a lot more interesting than another Take That reunion or X Factor puppet (sorry Subo) hitting the top of the charts.

The Sundancer

The Sundancer at Reverbnation and elsewhere...

I would normally write my blogs on myspace but I've been adding a few things to the Reverbnation site in the last week or so.

If you have received an invitation to become a fan of The Sundancer it's because I'm tightening up the mailing list that we use. Myspace is great for showcasing music, but less and less people who are music fans rather than artists or promoters are reachable there.

It also looks to me that in the next couple of weeks the MY Band label will come off my personal Facebook site and so I'm starting a Band page, if you get an invite to 'like' The Sundancer then that's your chance to keep up to date with what's happening. Do it, do it, do it!

If you want to download a track or album, you can do it through the Reverb Store here or it's better quality at http://thesundancer.bandcamp.com/ and only a fiver.

Exciting times are ahead for The Sundancer, so keep in touch. Our new video for The Alarm Clock Song will be available soon and there's a photo montage up of a song about Kilmartin Valley up now.
