Thank you so much for coming-we had fabulous time. I heard from many people who said that it was one of the best celebrations we've had & it was thanks to such a fun band. SHAWN F. BROWN - ALBURGH - Shawn F. Brown, 59, a resident of Alburgh for the past 10 years, died August 2013. Shawn was born in Schenectady, N.Y., on Oct. 20, 1953, the son of Howard F. Brown and Mary Alice (Haynes) Brown. He was a graduate of Woodstock Academy in Woodstock, Conn., and Johnson State College in Vermont. Shawn had a lifelong interest in music, and was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his older brother, Jim Brown and his wife, Pat, of Stamford, Conn.; and extended family. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. My grandson asked me if I ever heard the song "I Wonder Who's Kissing Her Now". I thought to myself...Here is a preschool kid that loves music and a big fan of Bonnie Raitt and now is even listening to pop music of the 40s. So proud. Anyway.... I told him yes and he then asked me "What's a NOW"?....... and began laughing hysterically as coffee spurted through my nose!
