Monday, after an acute high blood pressure event,i was briefly hospitalized. Balancing again, and wistfully lift a gaze to the faraway....remembering....and still believing... Ragged and rusted and restless, time to be on the move
a time and a time has passed, and my dear friend has breathed his last. i have pledged to go on, to go on for the sake of the song. that is how we play music. I am available for 1 hour to 90 minute acoustic performances.you may contact me here. this is memory of my friend Jerry Sharp. To live and sing and play music with abandon
This song came September 5 on a particularly rainy day here. The song seemed to be at home somehow. My dear friend James Coffey (Tulsa Oklahoma , bassist for Zen Okies) played bass. Exile Pots from Manchester UK expertly edited the video. Thanks to them especially
There certainly seems a change .....we have weathered many seasons good friends. We have posted and toasted, and looked and hoped , and tried one more time. Our friends , some get weary. Some just worn down. Today is October 3 2017. Big changes. Loss and grief surging. I hope and pray I am brave enough to sing the songs of dreamers, and heap scorn on the schemers. Farewell all you that lived here and shared your love and your lives, Farewell Tom. I send my very best thought of deliverance and comfort til another song is heard in this world
uhhh...Jan 6...we are in that New year now ! Thanks for staying with me and welcome all the new folks. I really appreciate you listening . Many of you are on bandcamp too, hope that is working. My respect to all of you for perfecting your craft and being brave enough to play your song
So many have very kindly visited and heard music here and thank you very very much. There will be more music i fervently hope. Thank you for hanging out with me.
All i could reasonable write is thank you. Back pain has really interupted everything. Thank you all for the listens, and i will get back to it soon.
This new song came like raindrops and i filled my fountain pen and wrote the words in my book. My friend in Canada, Steven Jackson, sang all the background vocals.Lisa Gee played the bass, and Scott Hultgren performed the drums. I would never have met these good people if it wasn't for this medium we share, and in the spirit of that free collaboration on this song, here is an exclusive download of That's The Reason and allow me to return this gift to all those that have stayed with me.
