Its been a while since two of the four members of Seven Nines and Tens retired their positions in the band on good terms, so what better time then now to fill you in on what's been going on with us.
Remaining founding members Dave (me) and Earl were exceptionally lucky to add Riley Roukema (drums), Johnathan Holloway (guitar), and Mike Smith (guitar) to the lineup. The new songs we had been working on leading up to the lineup change have evolved exceptionally well with our new lineup of 3 guitarists/2 drummers. Earl has also finally had a chance to contribute some of his INCREDIBLE bass/songwriting chops to the band, giving us a 3 guitarists/1 bassist/1 drummer dynamic for his songs.
Our first performance with the new line up was April 26th @ the Biltmore in Vancouver. Our buddy Danielle was kind enough to film some of the performance for us and you can check that our here : http://www.youtube.com/user/bydanielle
Seeing as how we don't actually have an official recording released yet, please know we are planning on getting that completed and pointed directly at your precious ear drums before the Calender year is over. The songs that are going to be on our debut full length at this point are:
1) Famke Janssen 2) Microchasm 3) Abstruse Standards of Human Aesthetics 4) Castles on St Clair Beach 5) Day of the Living Methamphetamine Wanderers 6) Lunar Ellipse 7) Transmission 3: Escape From Terminus 8) Thermocapsulary Dehousing Assister 9) Retrograde Orbit 10) The Watch that Ends the Night in Silent City
we have a bunch of untitled material as well, so once thats named we'll add it to this list.
In other news our friend Caroline was gracious enough to create some official Seven Nines and Tens logo's for us so you can expect a minor makeover of this myspace page as well as official sn&t merchandise.
Finally, we are going to be hitting the road for some short tours to the USA as well as Canada-as always the place to get all this info is this very page. Thanks for your support!
