.The month of March has been a very hectic yet progressive month for Tony Anthony. I had the pleasure of working with B’Crisas Records to release a new single “Love you so much” at the beginning of the month. I went to Jamaica March 10th for two weeks to shoot a video for the new single, and do as much promotions as I possible could in the allotted time for the project. I am extremely pleased with the promotional aspect of my trip. I performed at TVJ on their Smile Jamaica morning show, I sang three of my songs “Cry Out”, ‘Yuh Nuh Simple” and the new release “Love you so much” I also did an interview on the show. The following day I visited IRIE FM and did an on air interview with Elise Kelly, she’s such a phenomenal lady I enjoyed the chat very much. I left IRIE FM and made it to HOT 102 FM in Kingston on time for my next interview for the day with Richie B. This interview was more intense, we chatted for over half an hour Richie B’s interview really revealed more about Tony Anthony to the Jamaican listeners. Where radio is concern I’m truly content with the radio play given to my new single in Jamaica. All the top djs seem to like the single very much, because it’s been played straight across the board by the top radio shows. In Toronto the djs at CHRY 105.5 FM is giving my new single “Love You So Much’ mad rotation as usual. I have much love for all these show presenters, because they never cease to give Tony Anthony’s music the love it deserves. There was an article printed in the Xtra-News paper about my new release and my accomplishments. Shooting my first reggae video was an amazing experience, we did the shooting at Hellshire Beach in St Catherine, and there was great togetherness on set. Director Asha did an amazing job of keeping the set professional and getting the best out of everyone. The video is in the editing stage right now, look out for it, it will be released to the public very soon. On the 28th of March at the Canadian Reggae Music Awards I had the honor of winning the award for “Song of the Year” for the single “Yuh Nuh Simple”. I was thrilled with this recognition, because this song is a personal favorite of mine, the lyrical content I wrote to help in the inspiration of children, and preaching the importance of acquiring a good education. This song is a year old, but it’s still fresh and has a lot of children to help motivate. Barry G who was a guest M.C at the event was pleased with my performance and loves my music so I gave him copies of all my releases to date so he’ll be able to play for his listener in Western Jamaica. I was live on Hot 102 FM with Richie B on March 30th talking about my reggae awards achievements. I have several other interviews lined up for the month of April. I will be live on Luther Brown’s show on Sunday April 5th 2009 on CHRY 105.5 FM. So the month of April is gearing up to be another hectic one musically, but I’m not complaining I’m ready for where it take me.
